Our Mission: A Bigger Picture is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of girls in grades 7-10 through mentorship, exposure, community service and travel opportunities.
Program Overview:
We provide girls in the Washington, DC and Maryland area with:
•Comprehensive workshops that build leadership, confidence and planning skills
•Exposure to new environments and experiences through our enrichment activities
•An opportunity to give back through our community service projects
•Traveling opportunities
Background information:
We are currently partnered with a Washington, DC public charter school working with a group of their 8th girls and we meet 2 Saturdays a month. We are looking to expand and need a program leader to lead and manage a new program. We are looking for someone that will be able to run the program every other Saturday from 10am-1pm.
Program Manager responsibilities include:
-Facilitate workshops twice a month
-Follow program curriculum
-Participate in ongoing training
-Participate in a bi-monthy call
-Manage volunteers/mentors
-Send out email updates and reminders to parents
