Several elderly and adults with disabilities in the Shoreline area need general assistance with housekeeping, transportation or grocery shopping. If you'd like to be a friendly visitor for someone living in Shoreline, don't wait—email or call us to get started.
Many seniors and adults with disabilities in the Seattle and King County area are stranded at home with no way to get to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctor, or to go on other errands. If you drive somewhere, chances are a neighbor would love to go with you! An hour or two a month is all it takes to help a neighbor in need.
We have many needy seniors and adults with disabilities on our waiting list who are waiting for help in Seattle and King County. If you can spend an hour or two a week, a month, or a couple of times a month, please contact us to become a volunteer. There is a real shortage of volunteers able to help with this need, and local seniors really need your help.
Volunteer Chore Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, is committed to helping low-income elders and adults living with disabilities remain living independently in their own homes through a network of caring community members, individuals like yourself.
