Institute for Career Development is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help people with barriers to employment transform their lives through career development and jobs. ICD volunteers will assist in conducting outreach to graduates of ICD's job training programs. Purpose of outreach is to ascertain if graduates have a job and/or if they need support in seeking and obtaining a job, and to encourage them to participate in ICD's other follow up and support services. If interested and qualified, volunteers may also assist with organizing Job Club activities, Computer Lab activities, and may help current participants and graduates prepare resumes, cover letters, search for job positions, prepare for interviews, and create and maintain LinkedIn profiles.
Please submit resume and brief cover letter describing what makes you interested in and qualified for these activities. For college students, we can format this opportunity as an internship experience. Please indicate in your cover letter if you are interested in this. Send all resumes, cover letters, and inquiries to email@example.com.
