Do you like working with children? Do you like the forest? Would you like to learn more about how plants and animals are adapted to survive in this habitat here at Tryon Creek? Are you interested in how Native Americans used our local plants for food, medicine,tools and shelter? We would love to provideyou with that extra knowledge and only askthat as a trained Nature Guide you share it in turn with children and adults who visit the park during morning school field trips by guiding at least 10 times small groups of children through the forest. Meet here at the Nature Center and dress to hike.
