Description de la mission bénévole

Real Men…..MENtor!

Nationally, only 8% of low-income students will finish college by their mid-20s.

For over 20 years, Capital Partners for Education (CPE) has improved the futures of motivated, low-income high school students throughout the DC metro area by helping them to get to and through college. With 99% of CPE graduates transitioning into college and 70% graduating on time, CPE effectively helps students traverse the college process, transition into college, and graduate at nearly nine times the rate of their peers nationally.

Mentoring is the cornerstone of CPE's successful college preparatory program, and we need 50 additional men to serve as mentors for our young men, most of which will be the first in their families to finish college. If you are a college graduate, work in the DC metro area, and like to have fun, you already have all the skills to succeed in this program. We provide training and ongoing support throughout your mentoring relationship, so all you need to do is be yourself!

Mentoring with CPE is simple:
